Every photograph, video, child narrative, logo, design element, and publication appearing on this website is the intellectual property of House of Hope or utilized under authorized guardian consent.

  • No Commercial Reproduction: You may not download, copy, scrape, re-publish, or alter any photograph of the children for commercial gain, unauthorized advertising, or political purposes.

Voluntary Donations & Official Receipts

All financial contributions to House of Hope are strictly voluntary gifts made to assist in the care, food, healthcare, clothing, and education of our 16 resident children.

Official Bank Accounts: Donations should only be deposited into the official registered accounts listed on our Donations Page. House of Hope never solicits cash via personal unverified individual accounts.
Receipt Issuance: Upon submitting your bank transfer slip or receipt via email (houseofhopechildrenhome2007@gmail.com) or WhatsApp (+94 77 790 3326), we issue an official stamped digital acknowledgement receipt.
Designated Funds: If a donor explicitly tags a contribution for a specific cause (e.g. "School Books Fund" or "Medical Care"), we make every reasonable effort to apply 100% of those funds accordingly.
4

Refund & Error Resolution Policy

As a registered charitable institution where donations are immediately deployed for perishable essentials (groceries, medicine, school transport), charitable gifts are generally non-refundable once disbursed.

Accidental Transfer Protocol (14-Day Window):

If an accidental duplicate transfer or clerical error occurred during your bank wire, please notify our accounts desk in writing at houseofhopechildrenhome2007@gmail.com within fourteen (14) calendar days of the transaction date. Please provide proof of payment and bank transaction advice. Following verification, our management will issue a refund minus any bank-levied international wire fees.
